The Chicago Cubs have to keep an eye on Mark Grudzielanek's rehab to make sure he doesn't try to overdo it. Grudzielanek is on the disabled list with a partial tear in his right Achilles. He has healed quickly in the past from sprained ankles and a broken bone in his hand but Achilles are very sensitive

The Chicago Cubs routed the Pittsburgh Pirates, 12-1, and stretched their winning streak to three in a row on Wednesday night.Sergio Mitre pitched six scoreless innings to earn his first Major League win, while the Cubs' offense pounded out 15 hits, with a career-high five coming from Corey Patterson.The Cubs will try to sweep the series Thursday night with Kerry Wood on the hill.
